New Features in Kits!

We’ve been steadily upgrading Kits Studio to make your vocal workflow faster, smarter, and more flexible. In this update cycle, we’re introducing four key improvements designed to save you time and give you more creative control: a new toggle for Instant Voice Cloning quality, the ability to reuse input files, seamless routing from Studio to other Kits tools, and a redesigned voice page that makes managing your library easier than ever. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new.

Instant Voice Cloning Fidelity Settings in Studio

You can now switch between Quick Convert and High Fidelity modes when using Instant Voice Cloning (IVC) in Kits Studio. This new toggle gives you control over the balance between speed and sound quality, depending on where you are in your workflow.

Instant Voice Cloning offers studio-grade fidelity, but conversions take slightly longer than Professional Voice Cloning. This new toggle puts the choice in your hands: Prioritize speed for quick previews or fidelity when you’re ready to commit to the perfect sound.

When to Prioritize Speed vs. Quality

Quick Convert is perfect for rapid previews and experimentation. It processes your vocal input in seconds, allowing you to test multiple ideas quickly. High Fidelity, on the other hand, delivers studio-grade audio quality for final takes and polished production. It takes slightly longer to process, but gives you a cleaner, more detailed vocal output.

Reuse Input Files In Kits Studio

Reuse input file option highlighted in the Kits Studio interface, enabling faster project setup.

You can now reuse input files from previous sessions when starting new projects in Kits Studio. Instead of re-uploading the same vocal take or audio snippet every time, simply select from your existing files and jump right into the creative process.

It’s a small change with a big impact: faster setup, fewer interruptions, and a smoother workflow for producers who iterate often.

Why File Management Matters

Save time by skipping redundant uploads. This makes back-to-back conversions easier, especially for testing or remixing multiple styles from the same vocal take. This is especially helpful for testing different conversion settings, creating multiple versions of a vocal, or applying various tools like Harmonizer, Vocal Layering, or AI Mastering, all without having to re-import your original track.

Send Studio Conversions To Other Kits Tools

You can now send files and converted vocals from Studio directly into other tools like Harmonizer, Vocal Layering, and AI Mastering, no need to download and re-upload. With this new routing feature, your workflow becomes smoother and more connected. Finish a conversion in Studio, then immediately shape the tone, build harmonies, or polish the final mix without breaking your creative flow. It’s all part of making Kits feel like one cohesive production environment.

No More Wasting Downloads

Music production is rarely linear. You might convert a vocal, tweak the harmony, layer new textures, and then circle back to make adjustments. By allowing you to send conversions directly from Studio into tools like Harmonizer, Vocal Layering, and AI Mastering, we’re cutting out unnecessary steps and making it easier to stay in the creative zone. No more downloading, hunting for files, or breaking your flow - just seamless transitions from idea to finished product.

Voices Page Redesign

Redesigned Voices page in Kits Studio, showing updated layout with Clone and Design options and new voice card styles

We’ve redesigned the Create a Voice page in Kits Studio to make it easier to browse, manage, and create the voices you need, whether you're cloning with IVC or designing something entirely new.

Better voice management: Voice cards have been upgraded to match the full horizontal layout used across Studio, with better readability, tagging, and mobile support. You’ll see cleaner date formats, smarter truncation, and consistent styles between your voice slots and the selection modal.

Clearer slot visibility: A new usage tracker shows how many voice slots you’ve used, with upgrade prompts if you’re approaching your limit. When you run out of slots, you’ll get a clear CTA to upgrade before adding more voices.

Explore Your Voices

You’ll now see clearer labels, better sorting, and quick access to use or share any voice in your library, whether it’s a professional clone, instant voice clone, or blending. This redesign is part of a larger effort to streamline how you work with voices inside Kits, giving power users more flexibility, while guiding new users more clearly through the process. More improvements are coming soon, including a revamped voice selection modal and improved tagging experience.
